The Christmas tree is shining brightly on Lincoln Square. Last minute touches are complete. Colorful storefronts and historic homes are decked out in balsam and bows. It is time for, A Gettysburg Christmas Festival. Wait, it gets even better, the festival is held over two weekends this year, December 3-5, and December 10-12, 2021. There is so much to do and see at the festival making it the perfect event for people of all ages and interests. Here are just a few:
Striver House Museum– Enjoy a candlelit tour and get a feel for what Christmas was like in the 1860’s. Reservations are needed for the candlelit tour.
Tuba Christmas– Tuba players come from different parts of the country to unite for this one-of-a-kind concert held in Lincoln Square on December 10th at 7pm. Admission is free.
Christmas Craft Fair– Stop by the Gettysburg Recreation Park on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 10am to 4pm. Plenty of vendors with handmade crafts and food.
Santa– Visit Santa in his seasonal shanty at Lincoln Square. Visit website for dates and times.
